Mike's First Tom

Here is my first turkey; what a start to a turkey hunting career that day was. It was only my 3rd outing ever for turkeys - this handsome fellow walked right up to my decoy, with my brand new Remington 3 1/2 inch Turkey Gun in hand, a load of 5's, I nocked him down clean at 40 yrds. Ironically, I haven't shot one since myself but have seen a good number fall in front of me which taken by clients. Looking forward to stick'in one this spring while RD watches through the Outdoor Production Canada camera lens.

Cluck loud and purrr quiet.......and be sure to shoot straight!!

Double Digit Niagara Steelhead

Not bad for the first one of the year! Thanks to a phone call from a fellow Gloomis prostaff member who invited me to join him for a day on the Niagara river I soon found myself holding this double digit spring Niagara steelie. We had a great day landing 9 of the 14 takes we had. Definitely had me keen for some river fishing that now is not to far away! Tight line this season to all.
