John VanLoo - Two Great Bucks!

Above is Outdoor Productions Canada's guest hunter, John VanLoo with two handsome bucks taken in the Goderich Ontario area. John utilized his muzzleloader during the controlled hunt to get the job done. The freezer is full, and his story is below:

"This years hunt started well with our hunt camp harvesting 5 mature animals the first day; 1 doe and 4 bucks. The rut was in full swing with bucks seen chasing does on numerous occasions. You know your chances of bagging that big buck are greatly increased with all that activity. One large 8 pointer was shot on Thurday and the other 12 pointer non typical shot on Friday, that topped off a successful end to the Nov 6th controlled hunt.

Being an avid traditional bow hunter, I also enjoy deer hunting with a 50cal. muzzle loader and have had great success with both over the last number of years"
